Reflection: Process, Progress, and Growing the Substack
The direction that I'd like to go for the rest of 2026
My dear readers and subscribers,
Thank you so much for your support as I’ve been building this substack. If you have a few seconds and feel so inclined, please like, comment, and share the substack to help the work reach more people! My big goal for 2026 is to build my subscribers list and social media presence to put more positive holistic wellness content and art into the world.
Why are people like Andrew Tate reaching millions with toxic rhetoric and claiming fame and attention when there are people like Ruth Whiting are making beautiful oil-painted children’s books, or Dr. Michael Greger is sharing incredible nutrition information for free?
I did some research, and the best way to grow is to offer genuinely helpful content (one hopes, of course) in free posts 3-5 times per week. That’s a lot of posting for me with my domestic load with the baby and toddler, but I think it’s possible!
So be looking for more practical holistic wellness content from me, along with reflections on nursing practice, the occasional poem, and guest posts from others who are sharing their creative or evidence-based wellness practices.
